Xoviorath had found a lovely spot in the sun and was currently lounging in it. Her rider was meeting humans while they fed and she had nothing in particular to do.
Spotting the pretty green, Zaijianth chose a spot near her in which to land and ruffled his wings before settling down. }:Good evening, beautiful,:{ he said to her.
Surprised, Xoviorath lifted her head to spy the bronze who had settled near her. }:Good evening, handsome,:{ she replied. }:I am Xoviorath, Ouemi’s dragon. I am new.:{
}:I am new, too,:{ replied Zaijianth. }:I am Zaijianth, Ni’hau’s dragon.:{
}:What is new, anyway?:{ asked Xoviorath.
}:I do not know,:{ replied Zaijianth. }:My rider keeps talking about it.:{
}:So does mine,:{ agreed Xoviorath. }:It seems important, but I do not understand it.:{
}: New is when you are hatched somewhere new.:{ Kalaith commented as she swooped down allowing her rider off of her but she kept the straps on as they needed to leave again soon Kalaith did not mind she was strong and enjoyed showing off.
]:I do not think I have just hatched,:{ replied Xoviorath. }:Are you certain that is correct?:{
}:I think she means arrived,:{ mused Zaijianth.
}: Do you understand the word arrived? :{ Kalaith wondered blinking at the pair as she looked around for other familiar dragons to introduce the pair to.
}:Yes, when you are going somewhere, and when you get there, that is called arrive,:{ answered Zaijianth.
}:Oh!:{ said Xoviorath cheerfully, head swinging around to look at the gold. }:So you just arrived!:{
Kalaith snorted a little before Leith looked up. }: Kalaith is not new. I am Leith and mine is Calarya.:{
}:Perhaps she is not new,:{ replied Zaijianth. }:But she did just arrive here, where we are. So the pretty green is correct.:{ He rustled his wings slightly and settled next to Xoviorath. }:I am Zaijianth. Mine is Ni’hau.:{
}:I am Xoviorath, mine is Ouemi,:{ added Xoviorath. }:Pleased to meet you, Leith.:{
}:What does that mean, pleased to meet you?:{ wondered Zaijianth.
}:I do not know,:{ confessed Xoviorath. }:But mine says it whenever she meets someone new. She has said it a lot lately.:{
):it is their way of saying hello:( the dusty brown answered as he landed next to the others. Dystath yawned a bit as his rider headed into the cavern. He crooned to his mate before looking back at the two new dragons. ):i am Dystath. My rider is G'van.:(
}:I am Zaijianth and mine is Ni’hau,:{ replied Zaijianth. He hesitated, and then, }:pleased to meet you.:{
):Pleased to meet who?:( Zarminath asked, landing next to his mate. The big bronze lay down and folded his wings to his back. ):who are your new friends, Kalaith?:(
}: Xoviorath and Zaijianth :{ Kalaith said watching all the new dragons. There were so many it would take her days to remember everyone.
}: Hi! :{ said Xoviorath to the bronze. }: Ouemi is mine! We are new! :{
Dystath lowered his head to Zaijianth. ):Pleased to meet you too.:(
Zarminath tilted his head to the side. ):Good to have you here. I have heard A'ren mention the name before.:(
}:Me or Ouemi?:{ wondered Xoviorath. }:Or did you mean Zaijianth?:{
Zarminath rumbled with what sounded like laughter. ):all. Mine has spoken of the new riders and their dragons,:( the Weyrleader’s bronze answered.
}: Mine says it is very busy and I will have to learn lots of new dragons and their riders. :{ said Kalaith as she settled down in the sun to nap.
}: Mine doesn’t know anybody, :{ added Xoviorath. }: She is lonely. :{
):there are many here. She will be able to make friends. Mine and his are very friendly,:( Dystath said.
}: I will tell her, :{ replied Xoviorath.
}: I will send mine to her, :{ Zaijianth told her. }: He is too friendly for his own good. :{
Kalaith snorted a little as she looked at them all. }: He is a wingleader, he will make friends with everyone, :{ Kalaith assured.
Zarminath yawned a bit as he listened. ):the wingleaders do seem to make a lot of friends,:( he agreed.
}: Mine is no exception, :{ agreed Zaijianth.
}: Mine is not good at making friends, :{ put in Xoviorath. }: She says she is awkward. I do not know what is awkward. :{
